CampAbility Kids Day Camp

For Elementary-Aged Children

Kids camp registration is now open for Summer 2024!

What is CampAbility Special Day Camp?

The mission of CampAbility Special Day Camp: Kids Camp is to provide a recreational & educational summer program to elementary-aged children with disabilities in a fun and safe environment. Our recreational activities have educational components & life skills woven into them – so the campers don’t even realize they’re learning or maintaining a skill!

Please be aware we are not able to provide 1:1 support for campers (this does not include ADL care).

If your child has a 1:1 at school, at a program, etc., our camp would not be appropriate. However, if your camper has community support staff (like a nurse, therapist, etc), we can discuss having those supports at the camp as their 1:1. Contact us to discuss this further.

We also offer summer camp sessions to the siblings in kindergarten – 3rd grades! By doing this, we hope to help alleviate the burden on parents by keeping their children in one location, provide comfort to the camper with special needs by having someone familiar nearby, and include the sibling(s) by offering them companionship with other siblings who walk in their shoes.

We offer 6 sessions (session= Monday – Friday) throughout the summer with fun-filled themes each week. Campers can attend one session or multiple – you let us know when you register!

When registering, you will need to submit a $25 deposit for each week you’re registering to secure your camper’s spot. The $25 is then deducted from the total cost of each session attended. For example, the MVP’s standard session is $180 and you make the $25 deposit. On the first day of the camp week, you will only be responsible for the remaining $155 for that session. Your camper’s spot is not secured until the deposit is made. DEPOSITS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE AFTER MAY 31 (@11:59PM). You will submit your deposit at the time of registration. Thank you!
